Our Journey from Naples to Your Community
'EveningCourt' started from a humble vision: to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to London. The restaurant, established by the Romano family in 1985, began as a quaint, family-owned business, maintaining recipes passed down from ancestors.
Mia Romano, our originator, honed her pizza-crafting skills during her Italian journeys, learning from acclaimed pizzaiolos in Naples — the cradle of pizza. After her return to the UK, her aim was to replicate the enchantment of genuine Italian pizza, adhering to age-old traditions and selecting only premium ingredients.
Originally a humble 12-seat pizza venue, it has since become a cherished part of the community, and yet our dedication to excellence and authentic experience remains unchanged. We continue to employ original wood-fired oven methods, prepare our dough from scratch each day, and seek out top-tier ingredients.
Presently, 'EveningCourt' is still under the care of the family, with the Romano lineage's second generation now guiding our fervent staff. While modern touches have been adopted, at its core, our enterprise is driven by a consistent goal: to produce delectable, true pizzas that unite patrons.
